Opening ceremony

The opening of Verona Tessile’s fourth edition will be held in the magnificent location of Castelvecchio museum, with a greeting from the local authorities, sponsors and participating artists. It will also be possible to preview the exhibition in Sala Boggian “Quilts Antichi dal 1800. Americani ed Europei”. Followed by a toast offered by La Cappuccina.

In case of rain the ceremony will take place in Sala Boggian, Castelvecchio Museum, which has a limited capacity.

 

Book launch of “Serenissime. Le donne illustri di Venezia dal Medioevo a oggi”

The book, published by Biblioteca dell’Immagine, will be presented by the author Alessandro Marzo Magno. Hosted by the journalist Anna Martellato.

The book, published by Hoepli, will be presented by the author Giampaolo Colletti. Speech by Tiziana Cavallo, Head of Communications at the University of Verona.

Closing and award ceremony of the International Textile Art Contest

During the ceremony, artists in first, second and third places in the modern and traditional categories of the International Contest of Textile Arts “Love. the red thread that unites” will be awarded. Followed by a brief musical entertainment and a toast offered by La cappuccina.
